HELP US KEEP OUR MISSION HEALTHY
For 2021, we are doing something radically different to better healthcare, and if it works we will stick to it. It’s an experimental year! Leaf Medical has always strived to provide a higher level of healthcare without mandatory fees that can cost up to $200+ per year for some practices, whether or not their services are used. This has been a difficult year for many for us, so our previous year policy was not exercised for all of 2020.
OUR PREVIOUS APPROACH
Leaf Medical Memberships are FREE as long as you make your annual visit / telemedicine visit every year. Don't worry we will remind you via email, text or phone call when your annual visit is coming up. For example, your first annual physical at Leaf Medical was in 2019. You then returned in 2020 for your next annual physical, your membership would remain free. If you decide not to maintain your membership at Leaf Medical, you can cancel your membership at anytime without incurring any membership fees or you may continue at $150 per year should you not receive your following year’s physical.
OUR NEW COMMUNITY APPROACH
Leaf Medical Membership Fees are now optional, which works for everyone! This is a community approach, and so we are asking our patients to help us grow together. For those that are able to contribute, we vow to use the funds to better our services, which include: additional support staff, new equipment, new features such as our current chat system, raises to our well deserved employees, expanding into specialties such as cardiology & more. Membership fees will not be used to for profit, instead it will help build and maintain the best medical practice in all of New York City. Even if you can’t contribute, you can still help by spreading the word through reviews and social media (Leaf Medical currently spends $10,000 on advertising with zocdoc per month to find new patients). Whether you can contribute or not, all Leaf Medical patients will receive the same level of compassionate healthcare. We are proud of our team for staying open throughout this pandemic, and we are proud of patients for their amazing support. We still recommend that all patients complete their annual physicals (telemedicine physicals are better than no physical), this way we can keep you healthy. If it’s a success we will continue it for many years to come. Together we can inspire a change in the way we do healthcare.
