Our Carroll Gardens medical office is conveniently located on Smith Street with access by subway and bus. Leaf Medical’s mission is to provide comprehensive care for the entire family and to meet all your primary care needs. With that in mind, we offer pediatrics, women’s health and internal medicine. Our team consists of board certified physicians and a robust referral list of experienced specialists. The office has been designed with family friendly rooms, plenty of stroller parking and handicap access. We are committed to making your doctor’s visit seamless with same day appointments, in-office laboratories, online bookings and access to our team via a patient portal. Our team is trained to provide guidance on everything from the common cold to chronic conditions, as well as pediatrics, women’s health, and immunization for both prevention and basic travel. Dr. Janet Arribas DO
Board Certified Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Janet Arribas is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician. Dr. Arribas received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri and obtained a masters degree from the University of Kansas, before pursuing her medical degree at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Dr. Arribas is a down-to-earth and personable physician who brings over 17 years of medical experience to Leaf Medical. She believes in realistic goals to help patients achieve their medical needs. With honesty and sincerity, she takes time to educate patients to empower them with tools to manage their health. Dr. Arribas primarily sees adult patients, but also patients 5 to 17 years old. During her spare time, she loves to hang out with her favorite Shih Tzu, Bronte.
Dr. Heath Bettencourtt MD
BOARD CERTIFIED PEDIATRICIAN
Dr. Heath Bettencourtt MD is a native of the West Bank of New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended the University of New Orleans, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry. From there, he attended the Medical School at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, where he graduated in 1996. He went on to complete his residency at both Children’s Hospital and University Hospital in New Orleans. He served as Chief Resident of Pediatrics at the University Hospital in New Orleans from 1999-2000.
